I am highly disturbed by Helen Zille’s remarks about the President of the Republic. How can you comment in such a way about the head of state? Her remarks were absolutely uncalled for and daring at a head of state. What upsets me more is the manner in which Jeremy Maggs sees nothing wrong with this woman. In his line of questioning he only makes note of the youth leagues retaliation. How in the world can you in this country appoint and all white male cabinet and then say they are best fit for the job? It is another way of wanting to keep this Western Cape white as a possible and every time she seems to promise the coloured electorate of big dreams.

I, in no way condone the remarks of the Youth League but I understand their anger towards this neurotic woman who is in on a one way course to send this province to the depths of hell. With major changes coming to Cape Town I am really considering whether this province will be able to accommodate black people like us here. Her continued remarks even in the past have always surprised me like when visiting one of the townships she remarked that we “blacks” should return to the Eastern Cape in buses we came with .

Mr Zuma is the President of this country and as a head of state he deserves the respect .

I am disappointed in Helen Zille’s attitude and stance agaisnt Jacob Zuma! I find it to be too personal, harsh and very undiplomatic, whether Zuma is right or wrong. I cannot say what positive things Zille and her cabinet will bring within the next coming years other than the sneers and jeers flying at rocket-speed straight to Jacob Zuma. Zille, for the benefit of a new South Africa, please desist from personal attacks and do more for the development of the province under your jurisdiction and also for the rest of South Africa. What are your plans for the built environment, education, health, security, crime, unemployment, vice and corruption as well as addressing scarce skills development that will power the econmy to greater heights?

To the ANC Youth League, I say two wrongs will never make a right. If a “mad person” strips in public claiming you have wronged him/her and you strip as well thinking you are not to be out done, then you are a mad person too!!! Perhaps much more crazy than the crazy one… Politicians work for the nation that’s why you are in these high offices. Serve the people who put you there or else greater would be your fall. Ask Lucifer from the Bible…

i think, they made a mistake of ”( freedom of speech, cause everyone says every thing they want about the leaders, it does’nt start with her, and it is still going to be that way, i am worried about the economy though” it seems to me that these new gov. is go’nna bring the worst in us.The leaders are not actully thinking of the whole community, they thinking of themselves, it is time for them to deliver, not up and downs fighting for things that doe’nt concern us.

Repyl…Zille Madness
While I agree that Zille’s remarks were inappropriate the facts are however true and were publically aired during a court appearance by Zuma. As far as respecting the head of state is concerned….The POSITION OF THE HEAD OF STATE is respected but the OCCUPIER of this high position has to EARN respect. This is someting that Zacob Zuma still has to do.There are far too many unanswered question hanging over his head. from Mike
