The Democratic Alliance unveiled a new DA logo saying the party is launching a new vision for South Africa to make the country’s dream a living reality. The logo was unveiled at Constitution Hill hall in Braamfontein, Johannesburg at a gathering which was attended by about 1000 party followers. DA leader, Helen Zille spoke at the relaunch and said “From today, we offer the people of South Africa the choice of government that really can deliver a better future.”

In her address, Zille said, “What we have unveiled here today is not just a new logo, a different look. This is not a marketing exercise. It’s much, much more than that. It’s our promise - a promise that we will deliver on the South African dream for the rainbow people.”

The DA leader said her party was committed to an open opportunity society for all, clean government and that it championed tolerance, excellence and personal responsibility.

The new logo is good + all + all, perhaps this should have happened months ago. I think however the DA is a little scared that they will loose some votes to COPE hence this re-launch. I might be wrong !

Da logo has the same colours as COPE’s, but for da colour black, which is missing in DA’s. Is it bcos u don’t represent blacks? Blacks in the DA shud learn from this that Zille doesn’t care for them.

South Africa is a multi-racial country and in order to live a peaceful life we need to resepect each other, irrespective of the colour of our skin, the hatred that us blacks we use to have for whites is now buried and yet someone (Zille) is digging the skeleton of that…
The colour(black/darkness) of my skin is filling Zille’s mentality she is thinking like a 2 year old child…
